Anselm Rabaté-Canning
I am a third-year PhD candidate in Economics at the LaRGE research center of the University of Strasbourg, under the supervision of Prof. Abel François. I also teach microeconomics and macroeconomics to undergraduate students at Sciences Po Strasbourg.
My research lies at the intersection of applied microeconomics, political economy and economic history. My thesis studies the economic, political and cultural impacts of foreign military presence.
Before starting my PhD, I worked as a research assistant for Jean Lacroix (Université Paris-Saclay) and Guillaume Hollard (CREST). I hold a Master’s degree in Development Economics from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a BSc in Economics from Maastricht University.
